Kayak Adventure

Cast off into Lan Ha Bay: the less traveled, but still astoundingly beautiful southern portion of Ha Long Bay. We’ll cruise on our traditional Vietnamese junk boat through a maze of karst towers before boarding the kayaks. Your guide will lead you to peaceful lagoons, where you can cool off, have a swim, and enjoy nature to its fullest. Explore beaches and navigate through villages of floating homes before returning to the junk boat for a remarkable lunch, cooked in traditional Vietnamese style by our local boat crew.

The tour:

Primary Activities: Kayaking and cruising around Lan Ha Bay.
Other Activities: Swimming and sunbathing.
Designed For: Anyone with a love for the outdoors or who would like to experience the bay.
Helpful to Bring: Water, sunscreen, insect repellent, swimsuit, change of clothes, camera and a towel.
Included : Transportation, access fees, English-speaking guides, lunch, and kayaking equipment.
Days Offered: Every day!
Excluded : Drinks.
Timeline

SUMMER ITINERARY (April–December)
08:00: Arrive at Langurs Adventures to check in.
08:15: Leave the office by Van, drive to the harbour and board our traditional junk boat.
08:30: The adventure begins! Cruise out to our first kayaking destination.
09:15: Begin your guided tour exploring the floating homes and visiting lagoons.
12:00: Head back to the junk boat for a traditional Vietnamese family style lunch prepared by our boat crew.
13:00: Cruising north to our afternoon kayaking destination.
13:45: Continue your guided tour around the bay, to see more stunning karsts, hidden lagoons and beaches.
16:00: Board the junk boat again for the final cruise home.
17:30: Return to Langur's Adventures office.

WINTER ITINERARY (January–March)
08:00: Arrive at Langur's Adventures to check in.
08:15: Leave the office by Van to the harbour and board your traditional Junk boat.
08:30: The adventure begins! Cruise out to our first kayaking destination in the northen part of Lan Ha Bay.
10:00: Begin your guided tour around the stunning karsts, visiting lagoons and beaches.
12:30: Head back to the Junk boat for a traditional Vietnamese family style lunch prepared by our boat crew.
14:00: Cruise to our afternoon kayaking destination.
14:15: Continue your guided tour around the bay, exploring the floating homes and more hidden lagoons.
16:00: Board the junk boat again for the final cruise home.
17:00: Return to Langur's Adventures office.

Generally, the afternoon tour is less intensive than the morning tour; keep this in mind when choosing a half day kayaking adventure.
